My name is Georgia Michalopoulou, I grew up in Greece and the last few years I live in London. Since I was a little girl I loved clothes. My nan was a seamstress and I loved sitting next to her and play with fabrics and demand to make me a dress! Growing up I was always into crafts, music and art. I’ve worked in several areas of entertainment but my relationship with fashion has always been my favourite one!
So when I decided to make big changes in my life, I knew it was time to focus on my passion for fashion. I wanted to learn everything! I've studied fashion design and visual merchandising, I took courses on sewing and pattern cutting and I've worked on every department in the industry! Merchandising, personal shopping, buying, visual merchandising and e-commerce! I was fascinated by the industry, I wanted to understand how everything works and how every single department is connected to the others. But after the birth of my daughter, everything changed. Working in central London in this crazy pace wasn't working for me anymore, so I've branched out on my own and founded my own personal styling business where I get to help women understand the impact that clothes can have to their confidence
and make them feel amazing in what they're wearing.
When the pandemic hit the globe I thought that life is too short and my big dream of creating a multi-space where anyone can 'come in' and have fun with fashion could actually become a reality! That's how Your Fashion Lounge was born. An online multi-space where you choose what service or product suits your needs. You might need a makeover or just attend a workshop, you might want to buy a hoodie or an organic cleanser or you might want to treat yourself with a box that it's good for you and the environment.
